McCall Lenten Devotional: Child of All Nations

Child of All Nations,

When one is hurt, we are all hurt. We are all created in the image of God. Yet we are often blind to this. This child represents the fracturing that happens when we forget that we are all created in God’s image and that when one suffers, we all suffer. We shatter our connection to others and ourselves in the process.

PRAYER: God, instill in me a love big enough and wide enough to redeem me from the fragmented shards of my heart. Open my heart to love that is strong enough to uplift, build and restore relationships. Help me to suffer with my neighbor and begin the journey to reconciliation. Amen.
