Come and see your PEEPS at the Current and True Survivor Retreats!

When I use the word PEEPS, I am not referring to those absolutely delicious yellow marshmallow fowl I received from the Easter Bunny. While those peeps are indeed delightful, the peeps of whom I speak are even more enjoyable (if you can imagine such a thing). Peeps is an abbreviated way of saying people, so…come and see your people at the Current and True Survivor Retreats!

The call to ministry often separates us from those dear friends we made in seminary and college. Scattered from Texas to Virginia, Mississippi and North Carolina and everywhere in between—we find ourselves missing those friends and yearning for a place to reconnect. While most of us love where God has called us, we feel an acute sense of homesickness for the buddies we made while discussing predestination and Arminianism over expensive coffees. The Current and True Survivor Retreats are a remedy for that ailment! Not only will we hear from experienced ministers and colleagues (Brian McLaren, Joy Yee, and Amy Butler to name a few), there will be time for fellowship and fun. Workshops on practical ministry helps and missions and everything in between will be offered. Scholarships are still available, and who wouldn’t want to visit sunny Orlando in February? There is still time to register. Call up your peeps and register today by visiting the web site. See you there!

I love my peeps.
