Need Community?

Sometimes we get tired of living in our own little worlds and need “community” with others. But sometimes the type of energizing, reviving community we need is hard to find.

This summer there’s an opportunity for us to build community with some like-minded people from across the country. Come to Charlotte, N.C., the last week in June for the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship’s annual General Assembly. It’s not just another Baptist meeting; it’s a place for us to connect – with God and others. Each year there are people who find a sense of community at General Assembly. People who didn’t know that there was another person in the world that thought like they did, believed as they did, hoped for the same things they did. They came to a meeting, and they walked away encouraged that there were others in the world committed to the same cause.

So if you’re tired of living in your own little world, community awaits. You can connect at General Assembly. Check it out at www.thefellowship.info/assembly.
