I’m sure Alcides Guajardo appreciates the framed photograph from Shelia Earl, one of CBF’s field personnel serving in Macedonia, that he received for serving a three-year term on the CBF Coordinating Council. He was a good council member and brought a much-needed perspective to the Fellowship’s governing body.
I particularly enjoyed picking Alcides’ brain the last several years at the CBF of Texas Coordinating Council retreat held at Camp Buckner in August. He is a treasure trove of ideas, wisdom and experience.
Apparently, Alcides’ gifts were also recognized by CBF-partner, Baptist University of the Américas. He recently received an honorary doctorate, the first person in the history of BUA to receive such an honor.

Congratulations, Alcides. You will be missed on the Coordinating Council, but keep sharing your ideas!
