Faithful Friends,

We join hearts and voices in prayer for all those affected by yesterday’s bombings at the Boston Marathon. May the tender grace and mercy of God, along with the quick and faithful help of first responders and strangers, bring healing.

As many of us pray personally, we are also called to lead communities in worship and prayer, offering models and help in faithful response to violence and tragedy. To assist any who may be leading prayer services or planning to incorporate a response in a weekly prayer service, I’ve created a blog with links to resources and ideas.
