Steering Committee members look forward to upcoming CBF General Assembly in Greensboro, N.C. (June 26-28)

CBF General Assembly is right around the corner! Join us June 26-28 in Greensboro, N.C. and pre-register now!

The theme of 2013 General Assembly is “With Great Boldness,” following
2 Corinthians 3:12 which states: “Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold.”

For many months now, the General Assembly Steering Committee has been working hard to plan and schedule the many worship and business sessions, workshops, partner events and much much more with this theme of Great Boldness in mind.

I recently caught up with two members of the Steering Committee and asked this question:

What are you most looking forward to at this year’s General Assembly?

Here are their replies:Allison Tennyson

I am most looking forward to seeing the faces that I see once a year at this gathering and watching the excitement of those who truly enjoy being a part of this Fellowship.

—Allison Tennyson
Director of Human Resources, Cooperative Baptist Fellowship

The Assembly in Greensboro offers several pivotal moments—the forward movement of CBF Coordinatorimplementation efforts of the 2012 Task Force Report, a much needed review and updated revisions of our constitution and bylaws, and of course, the formal presentation of our new Executive Coordiantor, Suzii Paynter, and hearing her address the Assembly on Friday evening.

But, to be honest, what I look most forward to is seeing my Cooperative Baptist family. I love the people in this Fellowship and being with them at Assembly is a family reunion for me!

—Constance McNeill
Coordinator of Administration, Cooperative Baptist Fellowship

Learn more about the upcoming General Assembly here. Be sure to check out the exciting partner events and workshops too!

In the coming days and weeks, will be featuring Steering Committee members’ thoughts on boldness and how we can express boldness in our daily lives and how CBF can express boldness as a movement.

We would love to hear from other members of the Fellowship community and feature YOUR responses to those questions here at

Send your Great Boldness reflections to Aaron Weaver –

  1. You could even do it if you wanted to. In today’s world, it can be hard to lay your hands on some immediate cash in case you need it straight away. Though such methods may well not become a permanent source of income for that owner of your junk car, they still give a great way of making cash for cars Portland.

  2. I blog often and I truly appreciate your content.
This great article has really peaked my interest. I’m going to take a note of your blog and keep checking for new information about once per week. I opted in for your Feed as well.

  5. Add garlic, ginger, red bell pepper, and pepper flakes to the pan and cook together a couple of minutes, then add
peanut butter and melt it. Also be aware that any indoor pet,
such as a cat or dog, may want to drink from your pond and then find
himself a healthy treat in the process. However, installing a bathroom in a
basement that hasn’t already been stubbed for a bathroom can be very difficult and costly.

  7. It also allows you to capture & store videos while you are out for
a tour or picnic with friends. There are many new applications available for you to download
within the market. The version of Windows on my tablet pc is Windows XP and there is
no difference between it and the PC that I don’t use anymore.

  8. This will get rid of the built up odours and leave everything clean and smelling fresh.
Remove and dispose of moldy material in plastic bags, if possible.

The irritants in the home that can trigger
asthma are a lot; cigarette smoke, perfumes, aerosol sprays, fumes from cleaning
    products and paints.

  9. I’m extremely pleased to discover this great site. I want to to thank you for your time just for this fantastic read!! I definitely liked every little bit of it and i also have you saved as a favorite to look at new things on your site.
