Last weekend, Together for Hope – Louisiana hosted an event called Bags of Hope, a backpack and school drive for Pre K – 12th grade students in East Carroll Parish. Through the event, they distributed 909 backpacks, more than 3,000 children/teen books and nearly 400 packets of vegetable seeds.

This was all accomplished through the partnership formed between Lake Providence business, Lake Providence churches, CBF-partner congregations and churches from various denominations. Read more about this event here.
