On Sunday night, September 29, the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Georgia – Atlanta chapter will hold its first worship gathering. The service will be held at Druid Hills Baptist Church, and will feature eight choirs from CBF partner churches in Atlanta, words from several church members in the Atlanta area and a message of encouragement from CBF Executive Coordinator Suzii Paynter.
The event will also host Keith Lamar, Fulton County assistant district attorney, who will speak on the increase in crime Atlanta neighborhoods are experiencing, and the important role he believes local churches can play in alleviating these systemic problems.
Listen is open to anyone who would like to participate, and marks the founding of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Georgia – Atlanta.
CBF/GA Atlanta is a community of churches and individuals around Atlanta for whom the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship is their most relevant point of connection to the larger Baptist body.
