Utilizing the coach approach maximizes the core values for CBF and CBFNC.  The coach approach deepens discernment, generates collaborative relationships, magnifies fellowship, empowers individuals and mobilizes them to move forward in faith and function. Through CBF’s partnership with The Columbia Partnership and CBFNC, I am training our Dawning coaches to help ensure effectiveness, faithfulness and fulfillment in the Dawnings journey.

The coaching approach is not about giving answers as much as providing a process that discerns the movement of God among leaders and congregations. Coaches help pastors/staff to be strategic, prayerful and intentional about launching Dawnings in their church. Coaches listen deeply and frame powerful questions to encourage and promote discovery, discernment and possibilities that are realistic and attainable.

Coaches serve as thought-partners and companions for the journey of moving congregations forward. Often, leaders need such a companion to push through fears, make wise decisions about prioritizing time and resources while seeking and taking next steps. I am a certified professional coach and licensed coach trainer with over 4,800 hours of coaching churches and pastors/staff. Such opportunities bring me great joy in watching God move in and through leaders and congregations.

Far too often, churches engage outside help and find much on paper but not much in the hearts of the people that move them forward in faith and function. The Dawnings process and coaching services are designed to create heart shifts, deepen ownership of new dreams and revelations while providing a prayerful consistent source of support and encouragement.

Dawnings coaches will work to create active momentum that is sustained through coaching services.  Coaches and the coach approach found in Dawnings is designed to keep focus and prayer as the baseline for next steps.
