Bill Stanfield is the CEO of the Metanoia Community in North Charleston, SC. This ministry was birthed from the CBF of SC to combat poverty in the Chicora/Cherokee community. Bill has become a leading voice and proponent for asset based community development in CBF life and in Charleston. In fact, he was selected as a speaker during TEDxCharleston in 2013.

The idea of building the assets in a community often comes as a struggle for the church seeking to do missions, which traditionally involves giving to those who have less. To build sustainable infrastructure in the community, we need to be working towards building self-sustainability of those who live, work and play in the community. Contact Bill at Metanoia to learn more.

Bill will also be a featured speaker at the CBF ChurchWorks 2014 retreat in Huntsville, Alabama. Learn more about this retreat for ministers seeking to network, renew and create.
