The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship Governing Board met this afternoon to approve nominations to be made before the Assembly during Thursday morning’s Business Session. The Board approved nominations to present additional names for the Nominating Committee, Ministries and Missions Councils and the Governing Board itself.
In addition to the nominations, CBF Executive Coordinator Suzii Paynter discussed the new staff transitions taking place in CBF’s Decatur, Ga., offices, and introduced new Global Missions Coordinator Steven Porter to the Board. Porter and Paynter also acknowledged James A. Smith for the foundation he laid as Interim Global Missions Coordinator.
The Governing Board heard a report from Matchstic, the communications firm that CBF is using to perform a brand audit. A report from this work will be made to the Assembly by CBF Associate Coordinator for Communications and Advancement, Jeff Huett, during the Thursday morning Business Session.
