(BIRMINGHAM, Ala.) – Passport, Inc. has named Rev. Meredith Forssman as the new Editor for d365.org, the daily online devotional site geared toward youth and young adults, created and produced by Passport, Inc.
“Meredith is a gifted writer and minister and we are excited to work with her on d365. Meredith will bring energy, a young adult perspective, and maturity beyond her years. She has written several times for d365, and understands the focus and direction of the site,” said David Burroughs, President of Passport, Inc.
A native of Kentucky, Forssman earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Samford University and a Master of Divinity from Candler School of Theology. While studying at Candler, she participated in an exchange program in Germany translating academic lectures for the International Munich-Freising Conference on World Christianity. As the Ministries Assistant at the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, Meredith produced newsletters and provided curriculum development support. Forssman also previously served at Peachtree Baptist Church in Atlanta, as the Associate Minister, and in various positions for Passport camps including Camp Director.
As the editor of d365, Meredith will be harnessing the very best of the writers to ensure inspiring and encouraging themes and devotionals. d365 is sponsored by the Office of Ministries with Youth of the Presbyterian Church (USA), the Congregational Life office of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, and the Youth Ministries Office of The Episcopal Church. d365 boasts daily devotions and three seasonal devotions for Lent, Advent and the beginning of the school year, as well as over 1.8 million visitors annually.
