General CBF

It’s not too late to support CBF in 2014!

Hunger2
If you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.
     Isaiah 58:10

Your investment in the life-changing work of CBF impacts the world for Christ

As we rejoice during this holiday season, the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship celebrates the missions and ministries made possible through generous contributions from faithful people like you.

giving-1Your gifts make a huge impact. When you invest in the life-changing work of CBF, you join a host of other people, churches and partners in ministries that help to #EndHunger, as well as ministries meeting other needs worldwide. With your gifts to the Offering for Global Missions, you join CBF field personnel Greg and Sue Smith as they serve the Latino community of Fredericksburg, Va. To combat hunger, the Smiths maintain a food pantry and they partner with the local food bank, churches and individuals to provide culturally appropriate food to the Latino community.

giving-2Your gifts also support Chaouki and Maha Boulos, CBF field personnel serving in Lebanon since 2002. Since civil war broke out in Syria three years ago, more than 2.5 million refugees have fled the country, with more than a million of those having settled in Lebanon. Hunger is widespread, and there are no official refugee camps. The Bouloses and the Fellowship are working to end hunger for refugees through food distribution to more than 300 participants of a women’s Bible study, more than 350 students ages 4-to-13 years old at a school in the Bekaa Valley and to internally displaced Syrians in Damascus.

As you consider year-end giving for 2014, please keep CBF’s initiatives in mind. Year-end gifts make a big difference. As we look ahead to the new year with gratitude for the blessings that await, can we count on a generous gift?

Through your gifts, we are formed together in ministry as we celebrate the hope and love of Jesus Christ and the countless ways we witness God’s work in the world.
