General CBF

Share your story. Share your gift.

On this #GivingTuesday, we thank God for gifts beyond measure. God is at work in our world through Cooperative Baptist Fellowship field personnel, churches and young Baptists. We are especially grateful for our friends and partners who give so generously of themselves and their “first fruits” to make these ministries possible.

We hope you will take a moment TODAY to make a special gift of any amount on this Global Day of Giving. Simply go to www.cbf.net/givingtuesday. You will join with people across the U.S. and around the world in partnering together to renew God’s world.

Your gifts will follow the way of Jesus by sharing the gospel, feeding the hungry, providing compassion to the sick and dying,  giving clean water to drink, welcoming children and healing the hearts and lives of those who need God’s love.

#GivingTuesday started as a way to promote selflessness and service following the commercialism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.  This day was designed to change our perception of giving and show that generosity is about everyday people coming together to inspire positive change.

This notion of giving is active throughout the year at CBF. Every day, CBF congregations, partners and seminaries, field personnel, prayer partners and friends create our great Fellowship that’s transforming the world for Christ.

Laura and Carson Foushee, CBF field personnel in Japan, serve as beautiful examples of our collective CBF story:

Take a moment today to share on social media your CBF story and what this great Fellowship means to you and your life. You’ll also be inspired by stories of special gifts and memories of CBF field personnel, pastors, lay people and friends.

Share your story.  Share your gift.
