CBF Stories: Chaplains and COVID-19

CBF Stories - Chaplaincy (1)

In this special episode of the CBF Stories Podcast, Clark Hill connects with two CBF-endorsed chaplains as they respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. On the front lines of where the virus is most pervasive, their ministries of presence are most challenged by the need for physical distancing while needing to be spiritually close.

Chaplain Renee Owen is Executive Director of Spiritual Health for Wellstar Health System in Atlanta, Ga. Renee is a graduate of Duke Divinity School and she is a Board Certified Chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains and was endorsed by CBF in 2011.

Chaplain Sara Stubbs is a Chaplain at Plantation Estates Continuing Care Retirement Community in Matthews, N.C. Sara is a graduate of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary holding both the Master of Divinity and Master of Christian Education degrees. After many years serving on a church staff as a Minister of Education and Youth Sara became a chaplain and was endorsed by CBF in 2013.
