Common Good Coalition

How do you gather safely with sojourners during the pandemic? Why not host a leadership summit on a rooftop terrace in lower Manhattan?

This was the invitation extended to me from the Common Good Coalition earlier this year. It was a gathering of different-minded individuals for a time of conversation, formation, and broadening of networks.

The Common Good Coalition labels itself as a network of creative, motivated, and courageous professionals. “We are artists, business people, and religious leaders who are committed to the common good. We can no longer wait to shift the conversation.”

At the rooftop gathering, I sat down with the organizers: Samir Selmanovic, executive director; Tim B Gilman, creative director; Rod and Alli Coburn, hosts.
