By Taisha Seabolt
My name is Taisha M. Seabolt, and I serve as the Global Missions personnel and training manager at CBF.
Serving in this position, I also have the pleasure of managing our Student.Go program, the student missions program of CBF. Student.Go provides life-changing mission opportunities for college and graduate students to serve with our field personnel and engagement partners, as they live out the CBF Global Missions commitments of cultivating beloved community, bearing witness to Jesus Christ, and seeking transformational development.
Whether it’s for a summer or a semester, students provide crucial assistance to the ministries of CBF field personnel and our partners. By serving with Student.Go, students also have the opportunity to discover their place within God’s mission to change the world. Through these experiences, students live out CBF Global Missions commitments within the contexts of global poverty, global migration, and the global church.
I am grateful for the Offering for Global Missions (OGM) because through it, field personnel can serve around this world and students are able to serve alongside them and experience God in new and exciting ways! The OGM supports not only the work of our present field personnel, but is also key for prospective field personnel as they engage with CBF Global Missions on their journeys of discernment.
When you give to the OGM, your dollars not only impact the work of those on the field, but provide opportunities for self-discovery and vocational calling for future generations!
