Dominion Graphic Novels, Featuring Barron Bell and Daniel Hancock

I’m always a bit skeptical when it comes to Christianese film, tv, and written stories. Okay, more accurately, I am a bit cynical. Why? In a long history of trying too hard to be relevant, most of the content is just not very good.

Not Dominion, a new graphic novel series. Based on the story of 1 and 2 Samuel, Dominion lays out the saga of Saul, David, Michal, and Samuel.

The design and colors are gorgeous. The storytelling is brilliant. The book itself is high quality with a sheen on the pages. It’s an incredible work of art that might inspire a new generation to read sacred stories.

We sat down with Dr. Barron Bell and Daniel Hancock, the creative force behind the comic series.
