New editor named for the popular devotional website, d365.org

(BIRMINGHAM, Ala.) – Passport, Inc. has named Rev. Laura Edgar as the new Editor for d365,
the daily online devotional site geared toward youth and young adults, created and produced
by Passport, Inc.

“Laura Edgar is a gifted writer, and our team is excited to watch as her energy and fresh
perspective further shape our daily devotions,” said David Burroughs, President of Passport,
Inc.

Edgar graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Auburn University and
received a Master of Divinity degree from the Baptist Seminary of Kentucky. Laura is currently
the Associate Pastor for Youth, College, and Young Adults at Auburn First Baptist Church in
Auburn, Ala. She has served on the Ministries Council for the Cooperative Baptist
Fellowship and is currently on the Passport Camps Youth Advisory Committee. Laura is a
published author and has written for d365 several times. She previously served Woodmont
Baptist Church in Nashville, Tenn. as the Minister of Youth.

About the role, Laura writes, “I’m thrilled to join the Passport team and to be part of d365! I
appreciate how d365 provides a steady, faithful space for reflection while being innovative and
adaptive, highlighting a variety of voices, and meeting people where they are. As a minister, I’ve
seen the impact d365 has on students, adults, and families. I appreciate the thoughtful and
persistent work that has made d365 what it is today, and I look forward to helping this
important ministry continue to thrive.”

As the editor of d365, Laura will invite the best of our writers to offer inspiring and hopeful
devotions to our growing audience. d365 is sponsored by the Presbyterian Youth and
Triennium Office and Ministries of the Presbyterian Church (USA), the Congregational Life
Office of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, and the Youth Ministries Office of The Episcopal
Church.

d365 boasts new devotions daily, and we highlight three seasonal devotions for Lent, Advent,
and the beginning of the school year, for over three million visits annually.
