DECATUR, Ga.― Cooperative Baptists attending General Assembly next week in Greensboro, N.C., will vote on a budget proposal approved by the CBF Governing Board that shows a modest increase in expected gifts from individuals and congregations with spending essentially flat compared to the previous budget.

“We continue to operate with very conservative revenue projections as this is a similar increase than we have experienced in the current year,” a narrative accompanying the budget proposal states. “We are beginning to see more significant gifts from our development efforts but want to see those trends continue before forecasting larger increases in revenue.”

On the expense side, the budget includes a 3-percent raise for CBF staff, which is the largest across-the-board increase in years.

The CBF 2025 fiscal year budget proposal is available at www.cbf.net/budget. A budget summary document is available, as well as a narrative that explains both revenue and expenditure projections.

Voting on the budget proposal will occur during the business plenary session of the 2024 General Assembly at 9:30 a.m. Eastern on Friday, June 21.

A Business Breakout Session will be held for attendees to discuss the 2024-2025 CBF Ministries and Mission Budget at 3 p.m. Thurs., June 20, in the St. Andrews room on the Third Floor of the Sheraton Greensboro at Four Seasons hotel.
