Following the Star

Following the Star, an Advent devotional series, will return to CBF partner Passport, Inc.’s devotional website d365.org on Sunday, November 27, 2011 through Epiphany, January 6, 2012. This series features scripture, prayer and meditative thoughts, accompanied by gentle music.

Michelle Thomas-Bush, Brian Foreman, Tammy Wiens, and Sarah Sartain lend their ecumenical voices to this year’s Advent devotions. The writers focus on the classic themes of Advent. Listen for the notes of hope, peace, joy and love during your preparation for the coming Christ. World-renowned composer and pianist, Joseph Martin, has recorded beautiful piano arrangements to accompany the devotions.

Following the Star is part of the year-round devotion site, d365.org, a ministry of Passport, Inc., and sponsored ecumenically by Passport, Inc., the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, the Presbyterian Church (USA), and The Episcopal Church. d365.org boasts daily devotions and three seasonal devotions for Lent, Advent and the beginning of the school year, as well as over one million visitors annually.
