General CBF / Missions

Motivation from home

Recently I attended the Alabama CBF gathering in Hope Hull, Ala. I was excited to meet and visit with other Fellowship people from my home state. The most interesting aspect of the evening was seeing the enthusiasm for the Fellowship movement. The group that gathered was upbeat and showed a great personal interest in global missions. It seemed as if each person was specifically focused on how they personally could do more, be more, learn more, pray more, give more. I was inspired by their motivation to grow the Fellowship movement and wondered what else I could do. I can be committed to supporting global missions by praying, by giving to the CBF Offering for Global Missions and by serving alongside field personnel. Some of my favorite times at CBF involve sitting with our field personnel as they talk about what I can do to help in their ministries. It is always a moving experience when God opens my eyes to look beyond my own surroundings and see the need that exists.
Thank you, Fellowship Baptists in Alabama, for your commitment and motivation.
