Greetings CBF friends,

I’m writing to ask you to extend an invitation through your networks for “younger” pastors (20’s, 30’s and 40’s) who might be interested in our Lilly-funded initiative called “Companions in Ministry.”

The two-year program is modeled after the Academy for Spiritual Formation, with a coaching component for follow-up with the pastors who participate. Trevor Hudson from South Africa will be the presenter, with Marjorie Thompson and a host of others in the mix of leadership. We’re looking for an ecumenical “mix” of some 50 or so pastors to do this initial pilot project, and then hope to offer it more broadly to you and to anyone else who might be interested.

The application deadline is September 15 (I apologize about the late notice, but there are a host of reasons why our publicity has been delayed).

We’d welcome some wonderful CBF pastors! Trevor will be here Oct. 26-31 for the five day session. What a treat to have him back with us!
