Your Story Matters!

I was recently with a pastor talking about spiritual formation matters. I shared Luke 2:52 with him and we talked about who had helped us to “increase in wisdom and in stature” and who had helped us grow closer to “God and other folks.” We had an amazing time sharing memories of special people in our lives.

I came away happy for such a “great cloud of witnesses” that surround us all. Each of us have been guided by special people and special circumstances. I am always in awe of the goodness people bestow upon us.

Your story matters! Your story gives a real insight into God’s story. Your story is the one thing that no one can debate! Your story makes Jesus more real and God more accessible. Tell your story…your story matters!

  1. It is good to know that people still care for one another. My heart is sadden by the loss of love ones and neighbors in Haiti, and lets not forget the ones here in America that are in need as well. The news media have not mentioned anything about the Tribal situation here in our Country. How can we find out more?
Staying close to our God in Heaven through prayer gives us hope, perhaps a new meaning for today’s world.

  2. Thank You Bo for ministering encouraging words from our Lord and Savior. And yes, He is our hope for the end of time must be close-by according to Bible Prophecy.

  3. Bo, haven’t heard from you in a while, what’s going on?

There is new data out; 1 in 4 American Children are going to bed hungry… And I am sure that will increase as soon as the school year ends this month, because their lunch meal at school was/is the only meal they have/had for the day. Pray harder for this recession to end.
I have volunteered since the 80’s to help those in need and what I am seeing is heart-breaking, entire families are coming to receive one hot meal and a basket of food for the month. Our resources are running out. American children need help Washington!!!
