The MACBF Coordinating Council is very pleased to announce that Rev. Trisha Miller Manarin will assume the role of Coordinator on an interim basis.  Rev. Manarin has most recently served as Associate Pastor of McLean Baptist Church in Northern Virginia.  She has extensive experience in church life, Baptist denominational entities, and missional organizations which makes her well suited for this role, especially in the DC region. She has served churches in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Alabama by encouraging relevant faith development and missional presence for the community.   Her missional efforts have taken her around the world including Zambia, Uganda, India, and, Macau.  Trisha is currently a Doctorate of Ministry student at Wesley Theological Seminary.

Trisha offers these words to the churches and leaders in MACBF:
“I look forward to to this Coordinator position of the MACBF.  As an experienced pastor and missionary with education in theology, preaching/worship, mission, and pastoral care I am excited about what I can contribute to our region.  My creativity paired with my ability to see the big picture cradled within one’s individual and communal faith provides a strong foundation for me to assist congregations and denominational entities to deeper and more meaningful mission experiences.  I am energized by working with others and find great joy in seeing lives transformed by the power of God while growing in faith and serving in mission and ministry side-by-side.”
Trisha will be available to network with our local clergy, provide pulpit supply, organize our clergy and laity retreats, develop our annual meetings, and strengthen our relationships within the greater CBF family.  Rev. Manarin will serve on an interim basis as our region makes transitions as well as through her ministry placement transitions.  But even in this interim time Trisha will bring a great deal of commitment and hard work to her role in MACBF.    Her appointment is official February 1st but she will begin her work in an advisory capacity this week.
Please join us in welcoming Trisha Manarin to the MACBF through your prayers and support.
