In this season of Thanksgiving, we pause to give thanks to our CBF family, gathered at many tables across the country and around the world. We are grateful for all of the ways you practice bold faith partner with us to share God’s love and transform lives around the world.
On this day of giving thanks, we also lift up prayers for health, safety, community, justice, and anticipate the hope, joy, peace and love that Advent and Christmas will bring.
God of all blessings,
we thank you this day for your work in the world;
for the beauty of partnership,
for the hope of transformation,
for the joy that you bring forth.
We thank you for a Fellowship that feels like home.
We give thanks for this season,
even as we face the uncertainty this pandemic brings,
as we are reminded to be grateful
and to see the great gifts we are given each day.
Help us to maintain these hearts full of gratitude
as we seek to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world.
