DECATUR, Ga. — The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship has formed a new partnership with the Mid-Atlantic CBF (MACBF) and its Executive Coordinator to deepen relationships and connections regionally and globally.

This new partnership will allow MACBF Executive Coordinator Sean Roberds to significantly increase his time commitment and presence in the region which encompasses Delaware, Maryland, Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., South Central Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Roberds joins CBF’s Outreach and Growth staff team and will focus his increased efforts on building relationships with churches and clergy in the Mid-Atlantic, serving as a pastor to clergy in the region and providing spiritual support and encouragement, supporting congregations and forming and nurturing partnerships with other Baptist and faith-based nonprofit organizations in the region.

Kasey Jones, who serves as CBF associate coordinator for outreach and growth, welcomed the new partnership with Mid-Atlantic and Roberds.

“As a former resident and member of Mid-Atlantic CBF, I am excited about the investment in the region and what it means for both the Mid-Atlantic and the larger CBF family,” Jones said. “Sean’s increased presence allows him to focus on increasing Fellowship opportunities.”

Roberds expressed his excitement for the partnership and the opportunity to support the outreach and growth work of the Fellowship.

“I am excited about joining the Outreach and Growth team of CBF Global,” he said. “I believe the Mid-Atlantic region has a lot of exciting and different gifts to offer the greater Fellowship. In the Mid-Atlantic, we often say we are better together, and I am looking forward to adding new voices to the togetherness of CBF.”
