CBF field personnel with connections to North Carolina pose with Rob Nash and the 'big check' for $100,000 from CBF of Northa Carolina.

CBF of North Carolina meant what they said.

In March at their annual General Assembly, CBF North Carolina committed to match up to $100,000 the gifts of North Carolina churches to the CBF Offering for Global Missions up until the national General Assembly.

At the conclusion of the North Carolina state meeting, CBF North Carolina’s Executive Coordinator Larry Hovis presented a “big check” to Rob Nash for $100,000 because North Carolina churches gave $239,234.69.

“I want to thank you in North Carolina from the bottom of my heart,” Nash said. “With finances being what they are right now, it is very discouraging for our field personnel. You have brought them tremendous encouragement by making this gift.”
